Question of the Week
Normally, I wait until someone else posts before I put up a question of the week, but its been quiet in here lately, so my apologies to Phyrephox since I'm going to push his review of
The Terminal off the main page. However, I thought it would be a good time to put a new question up, so here goes:
Who is the most important director currently working in film today? Why?
I've intentionally left the criteria of "importance" vague, so feel free to answer this questions from an artistic, economic, political, or social perspective. As always, this question is open to all blog members and readers. You can only choose one director, but feel free to discuss or criticize others' choices.
Heads Up: We will continue with the Milk Plus Canon 1980-84 in a few weeks, so start working now on your lists.
