Procedures for our first annual Droogies Awards:
Nominations:
Open to all members of Milkplus, and done online at Milkplus.
At the scheduled date (see below), the volunteer for each category will post a call for nominations; members then use the Comments box for casting nominations.
Each member will submit up to five nominations per category, using weighted voting (5 points for the first choice, 4 for the second, etc.). From these, a shortlist of five nominees will be drawn up.
Voting:
Open to all, including non-members. Also done online at Milkplus.
At the scheduled date (see below), the volunteer for each category will post a call for votes. Votes are cast in the Comments box for the respective categories.
Each voter will cast up to three votes per category, using weighted voting (3 points for the first choice, 1 for the last).
Schedule:
Feb 9 - 14 : nominations for Screenplay, Cinematography.
Feb 15/16 : nominees announced as tabulation's completed.
Feb 16-21 : nominations for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress.
Feb 22/23 : nominees for the above announced.
Feb 23-28 : nominations for Foreign Film, Director, and Picture.
Feb 29/Mar 1 : nominees for the above announced.
March 22-27 : Final voting for all categories.
March 28-29 : Final votes, all categories, counted.
March 30 : winners announced.
Film Eligibility
If a film has been released in 2003 in member's country of residence, it and its cast are eligible for our current Droogies.

Best Foreign Film: Lady Wakasa
Best Actor in a leading role: Sydhe
Best Actress in a leading role: Stennie
Best Actor in a supporting role: Joker
Best Actress in a supporting role: Copywright
Best Cinematography: Steve
Best Screenplay: Copywright
