Question of the Week
Well, other than
Femme Fatale and a pair of Sokurov films, I haven't really seen anything lately (TV ALERT, TV ALERT: Samuel Fuller's
Run of the Arrow, which is not available on video or DVD, will be airing 11-21 on TCM at 5:30pm CST), and too make matters worse, I've been sick for a week and half, so I haven't really felt up to participating lately. However, I realized that the question of the week had slipped off the blog, so here goes another blog "Question of the Week." Remember, this question is open to everyone, from non-blogmembers to members; just make sure that you use only one comments response (max. 2500 words) to answer the question. Feel free to criticize another's post or defend your own however. Here goes:
Movies are somewhat like wine, some years just seem to have a better vintage. Which year do think is best? Pick one year and defend your choice, going beyond simply listing a bunch of good movies (though that always helps). What makes the movies of that year special? And for anyone who feels contrary, feel free to express your sour grapes by hitting back where it hurts! At the movies (every year has it's equivalent of MD 20/20).
